Millions of sweets have come and gone over the years and have been marketed to us in just about every form from various chocolate bars to unusual candies to bags of sherbert. However while many of these are much of a muchness, some stood out as being particularly classic or particularly interesting and some even have a ‘cult’ following of sorts. Maltesers: Maltesers are brilliantly light and this means you can enjoy a bag without feeling guilty for the rest of the day. At the same time their lightness and unusual form means you can enjoy them in a number of ways. We all have a way of eating them, whether you scrape off a little of the chocolate with your teeth first, suck the chocolate off until the middle dissolves, or just crunch them a few at a time.

Gummy Bears: Gummy Bears will be around forever. Sure they’re basically pure sugar and they look not all like bears, but they’re also satisfyingly chewy and almost thirst quenching and if you’re feeling a bit weird they can be swallowed whole…
