CITIZENS FOR PHOENIX.org INAUGURAL NEWS CONFERENCE, Wednesday, FEBRUARY

Citizens for Phoenix.org  was formed to maintain both public safety and
quality of life services.  This coalition joins Phoenix’s neighborhoods,
businesses, and frontline officers in a single voice. Those represented
include multiple interests who will stand together during the upcoming city
budget hearings:  the disabled, seniors, after-school programs, the arts,
libraries and police. The food tax approved by the Council on February 2 has
a relevant bearing on the issue of taxes and cuts they are willing to
accept, and concessions they require to balance the budget in a unifying
rather then divisive manner.
